The Yakutat School District held a Back-to-School event on August 26th. The first day of school event was well received by those who attended. The goal of the event was to welcome back families to the school year, introduce the new attendance incentives, and foster stronger connections between parents and the school. There was much fun and prizes to be had.
A huge thank you to everyone who showed as guests and those who helped put the event together and were there to serve our families. Hopefully this is the first of many Back-to-School nights.
