Don't forget to air out your middle school students when the weather is nice! 😅 Middle schoolers enjoyed a field trip on Tuesday collecting specimens from nature. By using what they learned about dichotomous keys, students then divided their finds into what they believed were categories that best described what they found. The goal was to understand what types of questions scientists ask themselves when naming living things that are found.
Each week YSD classified staff will pick one student who exemplifies kindness. They will be selected as the weekly “Ch’ak’yéis” (baby eagle) This week Tayler Storey is being recognized! Nice job Tayler!
